For women in leadership · Healthcare, AI & life sciences
Investing for women often stops at retirement accounts, public markets and real estate. The LSM Group opens a different door: learn how early-stage healthcare, AI and life sciences companies are evaluated and funded, and invest in the ones you believe in, each reviewed by a domain expert first.
The LSM Group is an invitation-only investor network. Membership is free, and you decide company by company whether to participate.

Why we built this
Many women already use the skills early-stage investing requires. You weigh whether a product will hold up in real use, judge the people behind a business, and decide where money will have the most impact. In venture capital, that same judgment is applied to young companies before they are proven.
Yet investing for women rarely goes beyond retirement accounts, public markets and real estate. The traditional routes into venture capital are hard to start with: a large commitment to a fund, little visibility into how companies are chosen, and no way to learn before you invest.
The LSM Group offers a more practical starting point. Membership is free, you attend founder presentations and read a domain expert’s assessment of each company, and you decide company by company whether to invest. You learn how deals are evaluated first and invest only when you are ready, alongside other women investors backing the companies shaping healthcare and AI.

Decide on each company individually. Investment terms, including the minimum, are shared only with members who opt into a specific company. There is no membership fee and no obligation to invest.
Your operating experience is useful to founders. Members with deep functional expertise may be invited onto the domain expert panel for companies in their field.
How it works
Applications are reviewed personally, and we respond within five business days.
Once or twice a month, a company presents to the network and answers member questions. Attend the ones that interest you.
Each company arrives with a written assessment from a domain expert in its category.
After each presentation, you indicate whether you are interested. Members who opt in receive the pitch deck, investor memo, raise details, minimum, and closing date.
If you invest, documents, funding, reporting, and tax forms are handled through one secure investment platform.

Who it is for
The network is designed for women in senior corporate roles, including executives, functional leaders, and operators, whether or not they have invested in private companies before. Participation in any investment is limited to accredited investors under SEC Rule 501. No background in healthcare or venture is required.
It is equally open to women outside the corporate world: founders, business owners, professionals of every kind, and women investing on their own or alongside family. Women in medicine often find that their clinical experience gives them an edge, which is why investing for physicians is such a natural fit for doctors who join. If you are accredited and want to learn how early-stage companies are evaluated before deciding whether to invest, membership is built for you.

Questions
An accredited investor is a person the SEC considers financially able to take on the risk of private investments: for example, someone with income above $200,000 in each of the past two years ($300,000 with a spouse or partner) and the same expected this year, a net worth over $1 million excluding their primary home, or a Series 7, 65 or 82 license in good standing. The LSM Group network is open to accredited investors, and because the SEC can update these thresholds, the application always carries the current definition.
